Sneaky Sound System Damage Hotel Room
November 27, 2007
Management at an Albury hotel are claiming that ARIA award winning group Sneaky Sound System trashed one of the hotel’s rooms. The group is accused of covering walls with graffiti, ripping flyscreens from the windows and smashing a bed.
Chifley Hotel general manager Mark Munday told the local newspaper that the band “went overboard†while staying overnight following a music festival.
“Usually we have no problems from bands but these guys went overboard and it becomes very disruptive to other guests,†Mr Munday said.
“It was not nice … this would be one of the worse cases.â€
The band has not responded to the accusations, with their manager refusing to answer questions.
The damage bill was reportedly expected to come to $1000, which doesn’t say a great deal about the quality of the bed… ![]()
