Kylie Minogue Announces 2008 European Tour

After a rather lack-lustre reception of her new pop album, X, Kylie Minogue has announced that she plans to do a tour of Europe in 2008.

Kylie’s new album - her first since making a comeback from breast cancer earlier in the year - has failed to make it higher than number 3 in her adopted homeland of Britian. Her new single, 2 Hearts, debuted at number 4, but has since dropped to number 8 in a little over a week.

Hoping to obtain more sales with her latest tour, Kylie described the gigs as being “fresh, exhilarating and innovative.”

“I am putting together a show that is going to be a new and exciting experience for both the audience and myself,” she said.

The tour is set to kick-start on May 6th in Paris, and will conclude at London’s 02 Arena on July 27. At the present time, Kylie has no plans to extend to tour down under.
