John Howard Australia’s “Most-Googled” Celebrity

Despite losing the election to Labor leader Kevin Rudd last month, former prime minister John Howard has just been named Australia’s “Most-Googled” celebrity, coming in near the top of a recent poll which measures a star’s internet popularity.

Mr. Howard came in fourth on the list, beating Hollywood A-Listers Angelina Jolie and Justin Timberlake, as well as fellow Aussie Ben Cousins, the struggling AFL star.

Unfortunately, the former leader was bitten to the top by usual suspects, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, who took out the top two spots, and relative new-comer, Vanessa Hudgens (from High School Musical fame).
