iPhone Coming To Australia In June

Good news for all the people waiting to get their hands on an iPhone in Australia.

At the moment, if you want to use an iPhone in Australia, you have to purchase one from overseas then hack it to work on Australian networks.

Mactalk is reporting some interesting news on the iPhone. As usual, details are a little sketchy, but some of the points include:

• Last week of June release
• More than 1 carrier
• No contract lock in
• Current resellers will be able to sell iPhones
• Possible 3G iPhone

This information is coming from Australian resellers, who have been briefed by Apple. Unlike in the US, where you can only purchase a phone directly from Apple, or the locked-in carrier, AT&T.

No information on price yet, but this is one rumour I hope is accurate, as it will be a much better deal then the iPhones in other countries.

Nicole Bitchie Pissed With The Parasite

For once, I think Nicole Bitchie is right.

Nicole is pissed that Parasite Hilton is trying to “copy” her life.

Hilton reportedly wants to follow in her friend’s footsteps by having a baby after hooking up with the brother of Richie’s fiancé Joel Madden. She would want a magazine cover like the one above.

It is bad enough that Parasite gets to go on tour with the and, while Nicole stays at home playing mum.

“Nicole was already upset when Paris started dating Benji - it all happened too fast for her liking. Then Nicole couldn’t go on tour with them because she had to stay home and look after her young daughter Harlow.

“She is furious Paris is out there gallivanting with her boyfriend and his brother. If Paris gets pregnant, Nicole is going to go ballistic. She thinks Paris copies everything she does.”

You would think she would be totally familiar with the way Paris operates by now. Paris craves attention so much that she will do anything for it. Her time has come and gone (thank God), but she is still trying everything to cling to any last semblance of celebrity, so great is her craving. The remaking of her image with the Bible and charity stuff didn’t last long at all, because it didn’t have the effect she wanted, so what better way to grab attention then to spit out a sprog.

Katie Collapses

The stress of her new life in the spotlight of Tom Cruise is certainly taking its toll on Katie Holmes. Since the posting of yesterday’s story, the former Dawson’s Creek star collapsed at one of L.A.’s trendy eateries.

“She fainted at a lunch,” a source says. “Everyone is concerned about her.”

In the middle of her lunch, Holmes fainted and was taken outside the restaurant by one of her minders. Onlookers say Katie appeared to be disoriented as she tried to steady herself against the door, before being carried to her car by her bodyguard. Â

The 29-year-old has been suffering from an increasing amount of dizzy spells and debilitating headaches of late, something which her friends attribute to the pressures of being Mrs. Cruise.

George Clooney Is Scared Of Staralicious

George Clooney has said he is scared of Internet critics what is said about him on Staralicious because it is so “brutal”.

He has admitted he avoids looking himself up on Google because there were so many blogs “trashing” him.

Mate, I don’t even look myself up on Google, geez, what is with that? Do you really need to look yourself up on Google to know who you are, isn’t your mirror enough for you?

Clooney says it is better to live in ignorance than face all the horrible comments made by bloggers. Oh come on George, we never give you are hard time here. Actually, George just said he is scared of what is said on the Internet in general, we are not that nasty….

He told the Daily Express: “A few years ago, I went to check out this website that someone had talked about. There’s like, a thousand people sitting in dark rooms trashing you. Brutal! You’re like, ‘Wow, dude’.”

He added: “You see way too many angry people [on the internet]. I remember getting off the machine and thinking, ‘Never, ever again’. I’d rather live in my own happy, quiet world where I think that everyone is nice.”

That’s very fagadelic of you George.

Tom Warns Katie, “I’ll Take Suri”

As Katie Holmes continues to struggle with the increasing pressure of being wife to Scientology mega-star Tom Cruise, her husband of two years has thrown down an ultimatum: if she doesn’t manage to pull herself together, he’ll take daughter Suri away from her… for good.

In recent times, the pressure of her media-loving lifestyle as Mrs. Cruise has put a huge strain on her health, with Katie suffering from blinding headaches and regular fainting spells. Katie is said to be overly emotion and struggling to get a grip on her life, and hubby Tom has had enough.

A source explained: “Tom has been patient with Katie, supportive of her feelings and how she needed to get used to her new life. But he feels enough is enough.

“He is taking control back from Katie the only way he knows how — by telling her that if she doesn’t pull herself together, their marriage is doomed. He has even gone as far as to warn Katie: ‘I’m taking Suri with me if our marriage falls apart’.”

Katie is said to be so frail and confused that she’s already taken a back-seat in her daughter’s life, and hasn’t been seen in public with little Suri since mid-January. A source close to the struggling star has revealed that in her fragile state, Katie just can’t deal with a Suri right now.

“With Katie’s frail state, Suri is just too much to handle,” the source said.

Sounds like being the wife of Tom Cruise is turning out to be no where near as fun as it was in her childhood fantasy…

Hugh Hefner Is Still Alive

The Big Cheese, Hugh Hefner has survived another year and celebrated his 82nd birthday at The Playboy Club inside The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Guess what he got for his birthday, his own table at the club. The table, located along the video wall that features thousands of Playboy covers, is covered with photos from the grand opening of the Playboy Club in October 2006.

I wonder what he did for entertainment after the party?

Jamie Lynn’s Man Points Gun at Photogs

Is this something to be concerned about, d’ya think?

Jamie Lynn’s man, Casey Aldridge (who seems to be spending an awful lot of time with the young Spears since the whole paternity debacle) allegedly pointed a gun at a photographer when the paparazzo continued to take shots of the happy couple on private property.

TMZ.com has the video (follow the link below), which clearly shows Aldridge pointing his gun in the direction of the photog and instructing him to “get the hell on a public road.”

The photog did as he was told, of course, before pointing out that Casey and his preggers gal weren’t actually on private property to begin with. Well, would you argue with a man waving a gun in your face??
